Of the 12 apps we checked in the Meta Ad Library on October 30 and 31, 2026, Finch has the longest-running ad: 582 days. Sweatcoin (382 days) and Solvely (330 days) follow. Advertisers usually switch off ads that lose money, so an ad that runs for a year is worth studying. At the other end, Cantina, Brainly and Wanderlog each have more than 170 live ads at once, which points to a different strategy: test many ads, keep few.

We pulled up to about 200 ads per app, so "Ads found" can stop near 200. "Live now" is how many were active on the day we pulled them. Each app name opens a Meta Ad Library search.
What do long-running ads tell you?
A long run is a strong hint. Brands rarely pay for months for an ad that does not work. The Ad Library does not show spend or results, though, so treat a long runner as a lead to study.
Two strategies show up here. Finch, Sweatcoin and Solvely keep a few winners live for a year or more. Cluely and WayShot run many ads that last weeks, which looks like constant testing.
Some apps do both. Wanderlog has 172 live ads and one at 198 days. Stardust has 97 live and one at 196 days. They test a lot and still keep a long runner going.
When you study a long runner, take apart its hook, format, and offer. Then build your own version around them.
How do you find a competitor’s longest-running ads?
- Open the Meta Ad Library, choose "All ads" and your country, and search the app’s name.
- Filter to active ads and look at the "Started running on" date. The oldest active ads are the long runners.
- Note the hook in the first seconds, the format, and the call to action of each one.
- Check if the same video also ran as an organic TikTok. If it did, the hook has worked in two places.
ugcMaxx makes UGC ads with AI, and every concept ships with several hooks, so each batch gives you real candidates for a long runner. Book a call to plan your next batch.
